How do I become a contributor to Getty Images Music?

Article Tools

Below is a step-by-step guide to joining Getty Images Music and submitting your first tracks.

First, you’ll need to create an account with Getty Images Music in the Music Portal.

Once you have registered, you will have your own account page. From this page, upload 2 tracks of your best work to be evaluated and given the “Green Light”. We are not looking for a specific genre or style of music here. Send us two songs that will show us that you can write and record music at a professional level.

If you are Green-lit, you will be invited to sign the Getty Images Music Contributor Agreement.

Once completed, you’ll be able to upload your first submission via your account page.

Submission Guidelines

If your music is not Green-lit, you will be able to submit two more tracks for consideration after 90 days. (Sorry, no exceptions.)

Having an audition rejected is not a reflection of our view on the artist’s talent and does not mean that future auditions will be rejected.
